We will hold our Troop Elections on November 7, 2023 where we will elect our youth leaders who will hold positions from January 1 – June 30, 2024. Scouts are encouraged to sign up for a position at the October 24 Troop Meeting or by emailing Mr. Maloney at [email protected] (be sure to copy another adult on your message).
IMPORTANT
- Scouts running for Troop-wide positions such as Senior Patrol Leader, Scribe, Quartermaster, or Troop Guide should have been in the Troop for at least a year before running for the position. This is to make sure the Scout is familiar enough with Troop operations to operate in this role.
- All Scouts, but especially those elected to leadership positions are expected to participate in December's Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops training course.
- Scouts may be removed from consideration for a role at the discretion of the Scoutmaster. The Scoutmaster will inform the Scout of this decision, and the reasons behind it, before the Election meeting.
