WHAT COMMUNICATIONS TO EXPECT FROM THE TROOP
The troop believes that it is our duty to responsibly communicate with those on our mailing lists. Here are what our various target contacts should expect to receive on a regular basis:
- Arrow of Light Scouts & Families: Beginning in June, Arrow of Light Scouts and their families will receive monthly emails covering important topics to help prepare them to join the Troop. In January, these members will also begin to receive the Troop’s monthly newsletters to stay up-to-date on upcoming events their Scouts will participate in after crossover.
- Active Members: The majority of our communications to the Troop are sent via TroopTrack. Members should expect 1 message a month with our Troop Newsletter.
- Alumni & Friends of the Troop: We will only contact you regarding upcoming fundraisers and important milestones in the Troop (e.g., retirement of a longtime leader, annual report, Chicken BBQ updates). You should expect approximately 1 email every quarter.
