Like any organization, Troop 457 is obligated to follow policies and procedures defined by the Boy Scouts of America’s national office, our local council, and our charter organization. We have also established our own policies to ensure our Scouts receive the best possible experience in our program. This page summarizes the policies and procedures to which we are required to comply and will be updated as needed.
BSA Policies
Troop 457 is chartered by the Boy Scouts of America (“the BSA”) and, therefore, must adhere to the rules and requirements outlined by the BSA National Office. Below is a listing of relevant BSA policies that our members should be aware of:

Troop-specific Policies
Troop 457’s Patrol Leaders Council (PLC) and Troop Committee have adopted the following policies for our Troop. All our members are expected to comply with these requirements as well as those outlined above.
