Troop 457 is an active troop that holds meetings weekly and holds at least one activity a month. While we encourage our members to participate in every meeting, Scouts can choose to participate in meetings as their schedules allow.
Troop Meetings
Troop 457 meets every Tuesday.
- Meetings on the third Tuesday of the month are our Patrol Leaders Council meetings and start at 6:00PM. Other weeks, our meetings start at 7:00PM.
- In the months of June, July and August we meet in the main shelter at the Zelienople Community Park. Otherwise, the Troop meets at the English Lutheran Church in Zelienople.
- There are no meetings on days when the Seneca Valley School District is off from school due to inclement weather.
During our meetings we work on Scout skills, merit badges, rank advancement, plan campouts, and just have fun. Please feel free to visit anytime.
Other Activities
We hold an outdoor activity at least one weekend a month. This may be a short bike trip on the Moraine State Park bike trail, a weekend cabin camping in the Allegheny National Forest, week-long expedition to one of the BSA’s High Adventure bases, or something inbetween.
