About Lesson

Like any extracurricular program, participation in our Troop comes at a cost. These costs are covered through fundraising and by the Scout’s family.

In an average year, an active Scout can expect to spend close to $1,000 a year in:

  • Dues (~$120 annually – subject to change based on Committee decisions),
  • Summer camp registration (~$450), and
  • Participation in monthly Troop events / campouts (typically $20 but costs vary)

This does not include the periodic costs of uniforms, camping gear, or special campouts like a trip to BSA High Adventure bases (~$1,200+).
