Remember, you may submit the form more than once. If your plans change before the deadline, simply resubmit. The most recent response for each family members is the one we will use.
Due Dates
Troop 457 must submit its full recharter package to Moraine Trails Council no later than December 31 to remain in good standing with Scouting America. To give our leadership team time to follow up on questions and finalize paperwork, all families must complete the Membership Intention Form by:
Friday, December 12, 2025
If anything changes before the deadline, resubmit the form with updated information.
Dues for 2026
Troop dues cover the required national and council registration fees for youth members. Last year’s dues were $120. This year’s dues will be finalized and approved at the December 2 parents meeting. Once confirmed, we will send out the exact amount.
A few important notes:
- No Scout account will be charged until after recharter is completed and submitted.
- Families with a large negative Scout account balanceor members who have not been active in recent months may be asked to prepay dues to ensure the Troop is not left covering unpaid registration fees.
- Finances should never prevent participation in Scouting. If dues present a challenge, please reach out privately to me, our Committee Chair (Mr. Burr), or our Treasurer (Mr. Roy). We will work with you confidentially to ensure every Scout who wants to continue in the program can do so.
